One of her most well-known parts has been her role as Adalind Schade on the television series Grimm since the year 2011. Coffee was also Cassie Tatum in The West Wing which aired in 2003. Coffee has been a regular character as Janie in the series Franklin and Bash between 2011 and 2012. She has also appeared on episodes of Yes, Dear, Cold Case, Strong Medicine, NCIS, Bones, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Psych, CSI: Miami, The League, Royal Pains, The Good Guys The Good Guys, and CSI: Miami. Claire was married to musician Chris Thile from Nickel Creek in 2013.
